Holy Scroll is a cinnamon candle that opens with warm spiced cinnamon, moves through brown sugar and clove and settles into a soft vanilla base. The bakery scented candle that smells exactly like a fresh cinnamon scroll pulled from an oven — without the mess, the wait or the calories.
Hand-poured in Melbourne, 115g natural soy wax, FSC certified wood wick. The cinnamon bun candle in the Light Bites collection for kitchens, living rooms and anyone who thinks the best thing a home can smell like is something baking.
About Holy Scroll
There is a very specific smell that a cinnamon scroll makes when it comes out of the oven. Warm, spiced, slightly caramelised underneath, with enough sweetness to fill a kitchen without being overpowering. Holy Scroll is built around that smell.
Cinnamon opens it, warm and spiced rather than sharp. This is not the cinnamon of a reed diffuser that has been sitting too long — it is a fresh, rounded spice note with a warmth that reads as baked rather than applied. Brown sugar follows in the heart, soft and slightly caramelised, adding the sweetness that makes this a cinnamon scroll candle rather than just a cinnamon one. Clove sits alongside it, dry and spiced, deepening the warmth without pushing the fragrance toward anything medicinal or sharp.
Vanilla in the base is what holds it together. Soft and creamy, it rounds the cinnamon and brown sugar and gives the candle its warmth through the full burn. By the time the top note settles, the room smells like the kind of home where someone has been baking all morning.
This is a comfort candle for the rooms that feel most like a home. A kitchen on a Sunday. A living room on a cold afternoon. A hallway that smells like an invitation the moment you walk in. It is also the easiest gift for anyone who loves food, warmth or the particular pleasure of a space that smells like something good is happening in it.

Scent notes
Top: Cinnamon Heart: Brown Sugar, Clove Base: Vanilla
Reading the notes
Cinnamon — warm, rounded and spiced in the opening. The note that gives Holy Scroll its name and its character from the first light. Not sharp, not synthetic. The kind of cinnamon that reads as freshly baked rather than applied.
Brown sugar — soft and slightly caramelised in the heart, adding the sweetness that makes this a cinnamon bun candle rather than just a spiced one. It sits alongside the clove without competing with it.
Clove — dry and warm in the heart alongside the brown sugar. It deepens the spiced character of the cinnamon and gives the candle an edge that stops it from being purely sweet.
Vanilla — creamy and soft in the base. The note that holds the cinnamon and brown sugar together and gives Holy Scroll its warmth through the full burn. What remains in the room after the candle is out.
How to use
Burn Holy Scroll for one to two hours per session. The 115g travel tin is sized for a kitchen bench, living room side table or any smaller space where a warm bakery scent can fill the room without needing a large candle to do it.
Trim the wood wick to around 5mm before each burn. Snap off any charred tip before relighting to keep the flame steady and the crackle consistent.
The tin lid keeps the fragrance in between burns. Store away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
