About the Blazing Night reed diffuser
A spiced reed diffuser has to hold its nerve over months. Spice notes are bold in the first weeks but can flatten or become generic as the lighter top compounds release and the oil level drops. What separates a spiced home fragrance diffuser that works from one that does not is the base - and in Blazing Night, the base is patchouli.
Patchouli is one of the most persistent fragrance compounds available. In a diffuser releasing continuously for months, it does exactly what a good base note should: it holds the character of the fragrance together as the lighter notes soften, and it stays identifiable through the full 150ml. The room smells like Blazing Night in month three the same way it did in week two - deeper as the orange and nutmeg settle, but still recognisably itself.
Orange opens it with a citrus brightness that stops the patchouli from arriving too heavily from the start. In a spicy reed diffuser, a citrus opening is more important than it might seem - it gives the fragrance a freshness in the early weeks that makes the room feel considered rather than overwhelming. Nutmeg adds a dry, woody spice alongside the orange, pulling the opening away from fruit and toward the warm, earthy character that defines the rest of the release. Warm spice runs through the heart, the thread that connects the orange top to the patchouli base and keeps the fragrance coherent through the full life of the oil.
This is the patchouli home fragrance diffuser for rooms that face the evening. A living room where the light is low after dinner. A dining room that should smell as considered as the table. A hallway that signals from the moment you walk in that someone has thought about this house.

Scent profile
Dark, warm and patchouli-forward. Orange and nutmeg open with a citrus spice brightness that frames the patchouli before it arrives. Warm spice carries the heart, connecting the orange top to the deep base. Patchouli grounds everything, building in the room over time and holding through the full 150ml.
Not sweet. Not sharp. The spiced reed diffuser that earns its darkness.
How to use
Remove the stopper from the bottle and insert the silk reed diffuser sticks. Place the diffuser somewhere with gentle air movement - a living room corner, a dining room sideboard or a hallway position - to help the orange and patchouli carry through the space.
For a warm, spiced home fragrance diffuser, a central position in the room works better than a tucked-away corner. The patchouli base benefits from some air movement to release properly.
Keep the diffuser out of direct sunlight and away from heat sources, both of which affect the fragrance oil and can shorten the life of the 150ml.
The silk sticks do not need to be flipped regularly. If the scent softens, check the oil level and the condition of the sticks rather than flipping as a routine.
