Sunkissed Shores is a warm vanilla candle that opens with bergamot, softens through creamy vanilla and settles on cedarwood. Bright at the start, warm by the end - the kind of scent that makes a room feel like somewhere you chose to be.
Hand-poured in Melbourne, 200g natural soy wax, FSC certified wood wick. The best-selling vanilla soy candle in the Renaissance range, and the one customers come back to most.
About Sunkissed Shores
Vanilla candles are everywhere. Most are too sweet, too flat or too close to a bakery to live with every day.
Sunkissed Shores is different in the way it is built. Bergamot opens it - bright and citrusy, with just enough edge to stop the vanilla from taking over too early. The vanilla comes through in the heart, creamy and warm rather than sugary, and the cedarwood base gives the whole thing somewhere to land. Woody, quiet, grounding.
The effect is a coastal warmth rather than a dessert. Something that reads as considered and easy rather than obvious. It is the vanilla home fragrance candle people buy as a gift and then go back and buy for themselves.
Sunkissed Shores is the most consistent bestseller in the Renaissance range. Customers describe it as their go-to for living rooms and bedrooms, and it is the fragrance that most often appears in orders more than once. There is a reason for that. Some scents just wear well in a home, and this is one of them.
The 200g ceramic burns with an FSC certified wood wick that crackles softly and melts the soy wax evenly across the surface, so the bergamot and vanilla carry across a room rather than staying close to the flame. Blended and poured in Melbourne by founders Suji and Jeeva, IFRA certified and cruelty free.
Scent Notes

Reading the Notes
Bergamot — a citrus fruit with a bright, slightly floral quality. It opens Sunkissed Shores with enough freshness to balance the warmth that follows.
Vanilla — creamy and soft rather than sweet. This is the note that gives the candle its warmth and the reason most customers describe it as cosy without being heavy.
Cedarwood — warm and woody, with a quiet earthiness that anchors the vanilla and keeps the fragrance from reading as a sweet vanilla scented candle rather than a considered one.
How to Use
Burn Sunkissed Shores for at least two hours on the first light. This allows the melt pool to reach the edges of the ceramic and sets the burn pattern for every use after.
Trim the wick to around 5mm before each burn. Wood wicks occasionally need the charred tip snapped off before relighting - this keeps the flame at the right height and the crackle consistent.
Store the candle away from direct sunlight between burns to preserve the fragrance.
