Oh So Pretty is a fruity amber candle that opens with passionfruit and orange, turns floral through peony and lands on a warm amber base. Bright and tropical up front, soft and warm by the end - the kind of scent that makes a room feel playful without trying too hard.
Hand-poured in Melbourne, 200g natural soy wax, FSC certified wood wick. The floral fruity candle in the Renaissance range for people who want something a little more fun than a standard floral.
About Oh So Pretty
Some candles take themselves seriously. Oh So Pretty does not, and that is exactly the point.
The opening is tropical and bright - passionfruit leading with its distinctive sweet-tart character, orange adding a citrus lift that keeps the whole thing feeling alive. It does not stay there. Peony arrives in the heart, soft and lightly floral, pulling the fragrance away from straight-up fruity territory and adding the kind of femininity that does not demand attention. Amber sits underneath, warm and quiet, giving the candle its depth and the reason it lasts longer than a purely fruity scent would on its own.
The effect is a summer scented candle that works year-round. Not heavy enough to belong only to one season, not so light that it disappears on a winter evening. It suits bedrooms naturally - the vibrancy of the top softens as it burns, and what you are left with is something warm, a little floral, easy to be around.
People who describe themselves as not being candle people tend to like this one. That is not an accident.
The 200g ceramic burns with an FSC certified wood wick that crackles softly and creates an even melt pool across the soy wax, so the passionfruit and peony carry through a room rather than staying at the source. Developed in-house by founders Suji and Jeeva, IFRA certified and cruelty free, poured by hand in Melbourne.
Scent Notes
Top: Passionfruit, Orange Heart: Peony Base: Amber
H3: Reading the Notes
Passionfruit — sweet, tropical and slightly tart. It opens Oh So Pretty with energy and the kind of brightness that makes a room feel like a good decision was just made.
Orange — a citrus note that sits alongside the passionfruit to add lift and stop the opening from reading as purely sweet. It gives the fruity soy candle its freshness in the first phase of the burn.
Peony — soft and lightly floral in the heart. It rounds the tropical opening without competing with it, pulling the fragrance toward something a little more considered as the burn deepens.
Amber — warm, resinous and steady in the base. The note that holds the fruity and floral layers together and gives Oh So Pretty its staying power through a full burn.
How to Use
Burn Oh So Pretty for at least two hours on the first light. This allows the melt pool to reach the edges of the ceramic and sets the burn pattern for every use after that.
Trim the wick to around 5mm before each burn. Wood wicks occasionally need the charred tip snapped off before relighting - this keeps the flame steady and the crackle consistent.
Store the candle away from direct sunlight between burns to hold the fragrance.
