Serendipity in a 115g travel tin. The same rose geranium, bay leaf, patchouli, cedarwood, amber and musk fragrance as the 300g, in a size that sits on a desk, fits a handbag and works as a gift without needing anything else around it.
Hand-poured in Melbourne, natural soy wax, FSC certified wood wick. The mini woody floral candle for trying the fragrance before committing to the full size, and the travel size soy candle for people who want something more interesting than a standard floral.
About the Serendipity travel candle
Some fragrances are easier to understand once you have lived with them. Serendipity is one of those.
The rose geranium and bay leaf opening is fresh and herbal in a way that is harder to describe than it is to experience. In a 115g tin, that opening carries clearly through a small room without needing a wide melt pool. The patchouli and cedarwood settle into the heart as the burn deepens, earthy and warm without becoming heavy in a smaller space. Amber and musk close the base quietly, the soft, resinous warmth that stays in the room after the candle is out.
A travel tin at 115g is sized for exactly the kind of room this fragrance suits best at a smaller scale. A bathroom where the rose geranium can lift the air. A home office where the patchouli and cedarwood keep the room grounded through the afternoon. A bedside table where the amber base settles in quietly over the course of an evening. In each of these spaces, the Serendipity travel candle does the work the 300g does in a larger room, just at the scale that fits.
Foropen living areas and larger rooms, the 300g Serendipity carries the rose geranium and amber further. The travel tin is the starting point, or the candle that runs alongside the full size in a different room.

Scent notes
Top: Rose Geranium, Bay Leaf Heart: Patchouli, Cedarwood Base: Amber, Musk
Reading the notes
Rose geranium — greener and more herbal than rose, with a freshness that defines the opening of this geranium travel candle in a small room. The note most people cannot place immediately and the reason the fragrance is harder to categorise than a standard floral.
Bay leaf — dry and slightly spiced alongside the rose geranium in the opening. It adds depth to the herbal top without pulling the fragrance away from its floral character.
Patchouli — earthy and grounding in the heart. At 115g, it arrives as the burn deepens and keeps the small earthy candle from reading as purely floral through the middle phase.
Cedarwood — woody and dry alongside the patchouli. It bridges the herbal opening and the warm amber base, giving the travel tin its woody character through the heart of the burn.
Amber — warm and resinous in the base. In a small room, the amber base of Serendipity holds well without a wide melt pool, which is one of the reasons this fragrance works at travel tin size.
Musk — soft and quiet alongside the amber. What remains in the room after the travel candle is out.
How to use
Burn the travel tin for one to two hours per session. The 115g suits smaller spaces and shorter burns rather than the longer sessions the 300g needs.
Trim the wood wick to around 5mm before each burn. Snap off any charred tip before relighting to keep the flame steady and the crackle consistent.
The tin lid keeps the fragrance in between burns. Store the candle away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
